The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has launched two new investor awareness videos on the corporate bond market.
The announcement was made on 9-July-2026 during a programme organised with Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) and other market intermediaries.
The initiative aims to improve investor awareness and support the development of the corporate bond market.
What the new videos cover
The two videos explain:
- The importance of understanding a corporate bond’s credit rating.
- The difference between a bond’s ‘clean price’ and ‘dirty price’.
These videos are intended to help you better understand how corporate bonds are evaluated and priced.
Part of an ongoing awareness initiative
According to SEBI, the latest release is part of its continuing efforts to deepen the corporate bond market through investor awareness, issuer outreach and stakeholder engagement.
With the launch of these two videos, the initiative now includes a total of eight investor awareness videos on the corporate bond market.
