ICICI Prudential Midcap Fund has introduced a limit of ₹10 lakh per PAN per day on fresh and additional lump sum investments and switch-in transactions, effective 8 October 2026. Transactions exceeding this limit will be rejected in full.
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited has announced a daily investment limit for fresh and additional subscriptions to the ICICI Prudential Midcap Fund, effective 8 October 2026.
As per the notice-cum-addendum dated 3 October 2026, the fund will accept lump sum investments and switch-in transactions up to ₹10 lakh per PAN per day. The change was approved by ICICI Prudential Trust Limited, the scheme’s trustee.
Any transaction that results in the limit being breached will be rejected in full. Partial acceptance of the transaction amount will not be permitted.
What does this mean for you?
The ₹10 lakh limit applies to the total amount invested through fresh or additional lump sum investments and switch-in transactions under the same PAN in a day.
For example, if you invest ₹6 lakh through a lump sum transaction, another ₹5 lakh investment on the same day would breach the limit. The fund will reject any transaction that takes the total beyond ₹10 lakh, rather than accepting it partially.
The notice does not announce any change to existing investments or SIPs. All other provisions of the scheme’s Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM), along with their existing addenda, remain unchanged.
